BayernLeder is our own brand of high-quality finished leather. Produced entirely by Schnittger in conjunction with our specialist providers, we can guarantee a quality product made from German hides in compliance with all technical and environmental standards. As with all our other products, BayernLeder finished leathers are tailored to the unique requirements of each customer. The BayernLeder range includes five different leather types, each with its own special characteristics. Together, they offer the ideal solution for every application. Each leather type is available within 24 hours in a choice of up to 35 standard colours. In other words, you can simply order your leather as and when required and thus avoid the added cost of holding stock.

Specialist finishing
As with tanning , all BayernLeder products are finished by specialist providers. Partners are selected on the basis of quality and environmental criteria, and are regularly audited to ensure consistency of product.
Benefits of aniline-based dyes
All BayernLeder products are coloured using aniline-based dyes. As well as colouring the hide completely, this process retains the natural and sought-after qualities of the original leather, i.e., softness and good grip characteristics. Custom dye colours are available on request!
